After a gentle alien becomes stranded on Earth, the being is discovered and befriended by a young man named Topher. Bringing the extraterrestrial into his suburban house, Topher introduces E.T., as the alien is dubbed, to his three daughters, son, and wife and they decide to keep its existence a secret. Soon, however, E.T. falls ill, resulting in government intervention and a dire situation for both Topher and the alien. Christopher is the host of the show.
About Dan Adam
(As told by Steve Martin’s hit movie “The Jerk”)
Dan was born a poor black child. After years of hard work at a gas station he invented a handle for your glasses, so you don’t apply pressure to the frame screws and weaken the frame. He doesn’t need this or this, all he needs is this ashtray, and this paddle game. This ashtray, and this paddle game, and this remote control and that’s all he needs. And these matches and this chair and this lamp. Dan has two kids that he equally hates for making him a responsible adult and loves for making him a better person. Dan is the executive producer of the show.
